In the past 6 years of Zion Dublin studying the art of music, he has become an exceptional lyricist, embodied the Hip Hop culture, and trademarked his swag. With hits like Turn Up, Swag So Retarded, New Era and I Don’t Want to Grow-Up with beats provided by world renowned producer, “All Star”.  This young extraordinaire is a YouTube sensation—with several music videos averaging views in the thousands. The charismatic rapper is adored by fans from Coast to Coast.

Zion never had the chance to meet his Grandma Gloria but he was always intrigued as family sat around and reminisced on her life. While engaged in three different sporting seasons, in between practices and games he enjoyed tales of his grandmother’s legacy. Stories of this dynamic woman created a spark in Zion and he began to write. His writings began to rhyme, his rhymes were set to a beat, and Zdub was born. This natural athlete dropped sports as his first love and focused on his God given talent - music.

With his new found talent Zdub did what comes natural to him, study and perfect. He researched DJ’s, followed MC’s, and watched musicians of all genres. With limited resources and unlimited imagination Zdub fashioned a make shift yet functional studio in his bedroom under his loft bed. He started recording tracks and performing them at family functions and received rave reviews. The compliments were motivation to Zdub and he worked harder to achieve his dreams. Seeing that he was spending days in the studio, hours molding his image, and endless time perfecting his craft; his parents invested in his talents by purchasing new recording equipment and building a studio in the basement of their home—where Zdub wrote, arranged and recorded enough music to produce his first two mixtapes, Swagg x2 (headlined by Parents Just Don’t Understand remix—a modern take on Will Smith’s 1988 version and Swagg So Retarded) and H.B.O. (Hottest Boy Out) featuring the smash hits New Era and Raybans.

Maintaining a consistent grind brought Zdub a strong local fan base and new opportunities. The teenage rapper exceeded everyone’s expectations but his own. In 2012, he hit the stage as the opening act for Mindless Behavior at The Electric Factory in Philadelphia, PA. Zdub was so nice he had to do it twice—he was invited to the Scream Tour as the opening act for Diggy Simmons and Jacob Latimore at the Tower Theater in Pennsylvania and the Constitution Hall in Washington, DC; giving performances worthy of a headliner. He has rocked crowds at Pennsylvania’s Juneteenth Festival, Duffy’s Hope Celebrity Weekend and Bob Marley Reggae Festival in Wilmington, DE, Charlie Mack’s Party for Peace Celebrity Weekend in Philadelphia, the Sweet Auburn Festival in Atlanta, GA., Brooklyn Rocks for Peace in Brooklyn, NY and performed alongside Avery Sunshine at the Grand Opera House in Wilmington,DE.

Annually Zdub sponsors a Backpack Jam where free backpacks, school supplies, Wal-mart gift cards and haircuts are given out to students. He also headlines his own New Era Concert which allows him to promote other artists who are putting in work and chasing their dreams; giving them a platform to shine. This concert sells out seats year after year. In the Fall of 2012 Zdub was a featured performer during the “Education over Everything Tour” in several New Jersey school districts where he talked to kids about the power of education, stopping bullying and chasing your dreams before leaving the students with stellar performances. This tour has been expanded to the greater Tri-State area and continued to grow.

2013 has also brought Zdub opportunities in Atlanta, Georgia where he performed at 2 Teen Celebrity events, a Super Bowl Teen Event and Jacob Latimore’s Easter Egg White Day party, which raised money for at risk youth.  He was selected to be a part of Philly’s Dreams to Reality TV show which is scheduled to air in early 2014. During the summer he continued to "Wake and Grind" by being a part of not one but 2 Tours – The Future Tour and the Clean Music Movement Tour. Team Zdub has grown into a movement - complete with the Team Zdub dancers, a growing number of fans flocking to the Zdub Fan

Club, and new supporters of Zdub’s music daily.  He also dropped in 4th Mixtape 2014 titled H.B.O. Vol. III…Shades of Me. This creative masterpiece embodies the essence of a true musical phenomenon and some industry professionals are taking notice.  A prominent songwriter/producer recently referred to H.B.O. Vol. III…Shades of Me as “PURE ARTWORK”!

Zdub remained busy in 2014 dropping H.B.O. Vol 3.5 Free bangers which continued to show his grow as an artist with tracks you can rock out with to chill and lean back with.  Also during the 2014-2015 School year Zdub and Summer Valentine kicked off the NO BULLYING allowed Philly School Tour where the talked to Middle school and elementary school kids about bullying, Education is Power and Chasing your Dreams.

Zdub is currently working on his 5th project and it is guaranteed to exceed all levels he has reached to date.   2015 is Zdub’s year!
